Muslim Pressure on French Public Schools Reinforces the Importance of the Separation of Church & State

I’m working on a series of articles on the U.S. Separation of Church & State which will use the PBS series “God in America” as the basis for it’s source material. I am only a third of the way through the series and so far the importance of the wall of separation couldn’t be clearer from our beginning.

I read a Reuters story about the mounting pressure the French public school system is facing from Muslims that includes not teaching about the Holocaust, the Crusades and evolution. It’s a sign of what’s to come here in the US. For those who question the challenges the ACLU bring up about the separation, you’ll want to read the Examiner article (linked below) I wrote on the French situation and how it affects us.

I am convinced that there is no greater right in this country that the freedom of religion and the principle of the separation of church and state and how that protects us from undue influences. Click below to read my article and let me know what you think.
